Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

We are committed to having a positive impact on the world, beyond the development of gene-silencing medicines. That’s why we’ve made it a central part of our corporate vision - to drive positive change for the communities around us.

In September 2015, the United Nations (UN) officially launched its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to transform the world and “leave no one behind” by 2030. We aim to make a positive impact in pursuing these goals, by focusing on three key areas:

Healthcare

Health

Bringing life-changing and life-saving treatments to adults and children in need, and raising awareness and fundraising for our healthcare charity and patient group partners

Education

Community

Creating inclusive policies and equal opportunities for our current generation, while encouraging the future generation of scientists who will deliver tomorrow’s medical breakthroughs

Environment

Environment

Offsetting the carbon emissions under our direct control, with the ultimate goal of becoming carbon net neutral in the coming years
